Description - introduction: 

Działki Leśne is one of the largest examples of interwar architecture in Gdynia. Located on a varied terrain, the district was developed in less than ten years, and the plans were even more ambitious. Situated away from the main area, near the forest, it is often underappreciated. We invite you to a walk along one of the oldest trails not only of Działki Leśne but also of the entire city – Wolności Street. We will explore the diverse architecture of this street – from small, simple villas to boldly designed tenements, created by renowned architects such as Stanisław Ziołowski, Stanisław Garliński, Maksymilian Zuske, Stanisław Żwirski, and many others. We will also talk about unrealized projects that could have completely transformed the character of this part of the district.
