International scientific conferences "Modernism in Europe – Modernism in Gdynia" have been held in Gdynia since 2007. These are the most important cyclical events focused on this topic in Poland. The conference programme is addressed to experts and scientists from Poland and abroad as well as residents and visitors. One of the conference's main objectives is to promote knowledge about the Gdynia urban complex and to popularise modernism. The conferences were attended by representatives of conservation services and specialists from cities such as Tel Aviv, Berlin, Le Havre, Asmara, and Vienna, who shared their experiences.
