Gdynia Film Centre

Gdynia Film Centre (GCF) is a multifunctional centre of culture and education on film, photography and architecture. The Centre houses, among others: Studio Cinema (3 rooms), Gdynia Film School, Art Gallery and "MOST Vinyl Shop" with vinyl records and souvenirs, as well as publications connected with "Gdynia Modernism Trail".

Gdynia Film Centre is the seat of the Pomeranian Film Foundation and the office of the Polish Film Festival. In addition, it houses (room 0.01) the project office of the Gdynia Development Agency and "Gdynia Modernism Trail" (8 AM – 5 PM).

Every year, at the end of August, the facility hosts the open Archi-Lectures as part of the "Architecture Weekend", the screenings of architectural films, and the opening of the post-competition exhibition "Gdynia's Modernism in the Lens". In spring, winter and autumn, the Gallery of the Film Centre organises a series of events entitled "Meetings with Modernism" (5-6 meetings a year, with experts and researchers of architecture).
