Protection and conservation

There are currently 74 items on the list of Gdynia monuments entered in the register, and therefore having a supra-local importance.

The protection of the city centre has also been established at the local level, i.e. the level of the city.

Preservation of the values of the modernist city centre must take into account the fact that it is still a very intensively used, central part of Gdynia.

The historical buildings of the city centre are systematically subject to conservation works.
