The perfectly prosperous PAGED company, i.e. the Polish Wood Export Agency, invested in the construction of one of the first offices and residential houses: and so an impressive, representative apartment house was created.
The architect Jan Bochniak was the first in Gdynia to apply a vertical division of the façade here: the central part, higher by one level, is marked by contrasting lesenes. The cornice is also strongly exposed. This apartment house became an inspiration for many authors of later designs. Currently, the edifice houses the Forest Management and Surveying Office.
